Carpet - how long does it last?

I bought a 2001 leftover Pro Deep V17 WT at the end of the season. (Oct 01). It was left outside uncovered at the dealers. I've kept it covered and tarped ever since but the Carpeting along the storage compartment openings in the bow are tearing at the seams. Is this common? Is there a warranty on carpeting? (Also I noticed hairline cracks in both consoles as well.)

My carpeting is coming unglued all over the place. I tried to have it replaced last year but it didn't happen. I'm going to try again this year too cuz it's getting worse.



I do however try to reglue the larger pieces with some 3M Super 77 spary adhesive, seems to hold pretty good.
