If TRACKER is so Environmentally Friendly why is it that when you fuel almost any aluminum Tracker boat it spews gas all over the back of the boat when it is full???? Environmentally Friendly......... Environmentally Friendly......... TRACKER KNOWS ABOUT THIS AND LETS IT GO ON!!! Environmentally Friendly TRACKER should be ashamed of the boats they build.... I have one, I know!

I worked at a marina for several years and if the guy knew anything about fueling boats he would know that you don't just stick it and open it up!! I can't think of any boat off the top of my head that you didn't have to take your time to fill it without spitting gas everywhere. SO it is not just the Tracker boat!! It is the person(s) trying to fill it up!

Oh realy so you guys know so much, why is it that I have had some service managers tell me that it is that way on most rear fill trackers and so does the customer relations dept. at tracker and they know how to fix it .....but they would have to spend 10-15 bucks more to build thier cheap boats.... oh my what happen to the American Quality of something built in America ??? I guess not at Tracker Marine

Charlie,

I too have the TV-18. You have to turn the nozzle 180 degrees so the curvature of the nozzle matches the bend radius of the hose. That's what I do and I don't have any problems filling.

Some people just aren't happy if they don't have something to complain about.

mike, you still fishing the lake up there?was hearing the bass are hitting in mexico bay.was up to oswego this paat friday and didnt get anything.was thinking of hitting mexico this weekend coming up,wondering if youre there and getting anything.

as for the fueling thing.going slow is better than fast fueling it.my neighbors starcraft will spit if you go too fast when it is close to being full.

I haven't been out, I've been recovering from back surgery. I don't know how they are doing in Mexico Bay, but have heard the are hitting good around Henderson though. I plan on getting out to try catching some soon. It is also that time of year to hook up with a musky or two.

might have to try henderson soon.depending on if my partner can get out to go.he usually has his kids on the weekend,so its tough to get out.we had 4 kids with us on sterling creek this past weekend.i did a little fishing on the creek, was out in the lake for a while, but no takers either way.

i hear ya on the back problems, the ride up was annoying, had to stop a few times to get out and walk around.got 2 protruding discs at l4 and l5,get the numb and jumping leg.

how far south on the lake do you fish?heard sandy pond does have some good musky areas to fish.fished it a few times for largemouth and got a few small muskys.also tried lakewood i think it is for bass and muskys.tough to get my boat in there, but able to.

With some pumps, I have to turn the nozzle to get the fuel into my Jeep!

Yes, that is the way it is with Trackers..... And Rangers and Tritons and Chargers and BassCats and..... They all buy their fuel tanks and hardware from the same manufacturers so of course they're all going to work the same.....

What's the big deal??!!??

Jeff, Sandy Pond is about as far south as I fish. I haven't fished Mexico Bay area in a few years.

As far as the back, had the same problems with the numbness in the leg, foot and lots of pain in the leg as well. Surgery took all of that away except for the numbness in the foot which is still constant.

last weekend(friday) would have been a nice day on mexico, wind was out of the south-southwest.we didnt get there though.was thinking of this weekend, but the weather doesnt look too promising, snow showers and cold.might hit salmon river for salmon, depending on how my week goes.

the numbness bothers me on the ride up.the doctor said that it has to get a lot worse before they do anything.guess i got a few good years left in me.

my brother has the basic same thing except his is to the point of they cant do anything for him now.he used to fish with me,but he cant take the ride up.
