Cabellas in Kansas City

Well I was in KC today and was looking for something to do and low an behold there was a Cabellas!! First one I have ever been to and let me say it beats BPS hands down. Granted BPS has more fishing stuff, but Cabellas has tons of hunting crap, guns, a bargin room and a bazillion taxidermy animals. They actually had people that would wait on you at the gun counter, unlike the BPS gun counter in Cincy. And they had used guns on the floor you could pick up on your own. I gotta a pair of thermal bibs for $40 to use next week and ML weekend. I think I may go back, but I lost alot of money at the casino tonight!!

Make sure to check out the Bargain Cave....you can find some good deals there. Also, if you see a ton of the same item that has been returned, it's a good bet that the item didn't perform as advertised.

Yup Cincy BPS does have alot of rude people. I actually had someone at Cabella's gun counter talk to me. That has never happend at the BPS in Cincy. Also Cabella's had reloading stuff, BPS does not. Bob I went to the bargin cave, and I didn't see anything that was an awesome deal.. Come to think of it they had alot of Knight muzzle loaders, and I belive all the ones I looked at had been shot. Maybe there is a connection??

I've been to four different Cabela's stores and they are all excellent. Every sales associate I've ever delt with has been top notch. They are based out of Sidney Nebraska and despite being in Nebraska they are a great company. I have a former hunting buddie who writes for them.

The only BPS I've delt with is the main store. Again I've had no problems there but it feels less personal there.

The KC store is awsome.
