Well guys went to Cabelas in Hamburg Pa today. The place was a freaking nuts. Walked in spent 10 min. and walked out. I did not buy anything, first time that ever ever happen. Time for a beer.
What did you expect the day after Christmas? Between the returns and the gift cards I can't even imagine? Example? My Sister manages a Borders book store in Fredrick, MD. They sold $98,000.00 of stuff on Saturday and another $100,000.00 worth of gift cards. Which I learned does not go to the days reciepts because it goes direct to an escrow account until used. This is one store, can you imagine what kind of interest the company make off of these on an yearly basis? Multiply that by the fact that k-mart, waldens, borders and sears are one big retail GIANT
