Weather.com reports 8 mph SW winds for Sunday. Now that could change dramatically, but lets hope not. That is exactly what we need. Only thing better would be north winds, but I'll take it. Those "toads" should be on, and I believe we will have them to ourselves. Now the boat. Flasher is back in but inoperative. No ugly hole, but condensation inside. I have the same model in my boat and it works, but I don't use it. I will swap them out. I glued the carpet, worked great. Did all the other repairs that were due, but the throttle control is loose. I even went to my tech at the marina on Saturday and we could not figure out how to tighten it. Do you have the book? It's Merc Quicksilver. And finally the cowling, it's clamps, but the front is loose, I have to see how it tightens. Not related to it popping off in the Everstart, cause that was the back. The hook just turned sideways. I corrected it, tightened it, and it's new. The front is different. We'll get it by this weekend. But the throttle concerns me most. Livewells are pumping great, timers and all. I will look into that fitting leak. Probably just needs to be tightened. A lot of loose stuff. You should see the ole girl though. See got a good washing, took the windshields off, cleaned underneath, wiped them down, fixed carpet, put amorall on the seats and dash. Boat looks nice!!!!! Polished up the chrome on the rims too with the exception of that spare, steel wool won't even fix it. It's better, but we should swap it back out. Give me a call tonight. The 15 still isn't working. I did get the 160 back on track. Tightned the ducer again, but also moved it up 1/8". That way it's not as far in the water on plane so it doesn't pop up as much, but still reads fine.
