Hey all. As you are aware of my preferance for braid. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to tie my florocarbon leader to my braid. I don't get a lot of break offs, but the knot is so big, it doesn't go through the guides very well, while casting. Thus far, I have been using that "stren knot" (I think that's what it's called??). It's basicly a version of the uni-to-uni.....

Think its called a blood know,, its basicly a doubled regular old loop know doubled before you sinch it down....

I've used a double-loop square knot.

It's easy to tie even with my simple mind!

I started using that knot ~35 years ago to join different diameters of fly lines. Never had a need to use anything else!

me!

In order to tie the Uni to Uni knot you will need to have an extended exposure to nuclear radiation and grow a third hand to be sucessful. Serious sedidation may be necessary to prevent mass murder after multiple attempts to tie this knot.
