The JLM and ProQualifier rods are awesome!!! Worth every penny!!! The JLM rods have the Titanium threads wrapped around the blanks from the reel seat up to the first eyelet,.....those will help magnify the sensitivity of the rod right where it tends to lose the most sensitivity on other rods. The PQ's are a little lighter than the JLM's and I really like those rods,..I use both equally as much, but for some reason, I just prefer the PQ's. Either one of those rods for $69 is the deal of the century!!! BUY'EM!!

and pick up a balancer kit for each rod while your at it,...a perfectly balanced rod is work of art (no pun intended)...those balancers can increase the sensitivity of a rod by as much as 300%....the extra 1-3oz's of weight it adds to the rod isn't squat when it's in the palm of your hand anyway....and it can mean the difference between feeling a light bite and missing a strike altogether....the rod and a balancer will cost @ $79bux,...and you'll have a rod that's every bit as sensitive as a MUCH more expensive one...balancers are awesome!! I highly recommend them on any BPS rod!! Good luck this season!!
