If your interested in well kept 1996 170DC w/75 Merc check out the Swap and Sell link. This boat is in great condition for the year and has been trouble free since I bought it new. I hate to get rid of it but the Triton deal I got was too good to pass up.

Here is a picture of the boat.

Al,

This has Trepper's name written all over it! Nice rig at a decent enough price. I'll relay the information to a few of my buddies here in the Charlotte area, that might be interested.

Tex

Tex, I appreciate you spreading the word. The price is negotiable. I will deal to get this boat sold before summer comes to an end. The wife says I must sell my boat prior to buying the new one. You know the wife makes most of the decisions in my house, except the decision on this boat is was almost all mine! lol.

Congrats on the new boat! Where's the picture of it?

Tex and Al - If it was that price and a F/S I might get the Misses to buy it, AND if it had a gems alvenized trailer for my planned saltwater trips!

You should have no problem selling it at that price!

You're 1/2 covered, Michael.....

In 1996 the dual consoles were called Fish & Ski's!

The Nitro 180 came with pads that went over the rod lockers.

Teri, I will take some pictures of it (maybe tonight, if I don't go fishing in it) and post them for all to see. It is one sweet boat! It is truly like NEW.

Trep, Comporomise and I'll sell it to you for $5,900. But I won't acccept IBM stock as payment. It will take a heck of a lot of homebrew in exchange for the boat -- maybe a lifetime supply!

That is tempting Al.

Can you get a picture from above to show how the decks are laid out?

Steve, I'll try and get a picture of them tomorrow. They are basically 2 rod lockers that go to both consoles. The boat is in great shape. The trailer has some minor rust on the fenders. I'll email the pictures to you if you'd like.

Ps-s-st..... Al..... Offer to discount it by the cab fare for the tires..... :)

That size boat would be nice for me,and the price is nice .But I will probably hold mine for a few years and get somthing like Al's new boat.An 18 footer with a 150 would be plenty of motor for the lakes that I normally fish.

I would rather err on the side of too much motor to keep me from wanting a bigger one in a few years.

The boat Al is selling would be the ideal size though.Small enough to take out to the little local lakes for a few hours, and big enough to be comfortable on the all day trips to the bigger lakes.

Steve, I will deal!!!! It's a good boat for the $$$. My wife always said "If you take care of the house like you do the boat we won't have any problems" Steve, Let me know if your serious, the Nitro has been in a lot of bodies of water and has never let me down. I would love to find a good owner for her.....

Ps-s-st..... Steve..... You got him on the line..... Play him a bit..... Remind him about the ride to get tires..... :)

NAH,just doing a little dreaming.

The wife's new kitchen comes first, then it's time to think about a new boat.

Maybe by then you will be ready to sell the Triton for a bigger one.THEN we can make a deal.....

Steve
