I have a 1996 Pro Team 18 dual console. The original cover needs to be replaced. I like the original cover because it worked great at keeping rain water out. Is there a place other than a dealership where I could pick one up for a reasonable price. If not, what would be a good aftermarket cover. I'm currently using what seems like a canvas/cloth type cover. We recently had a rain and I'm still drying out my boat. Need advice please.

The BPS covers made for Tracker boats are excellent. I replaced mine last fall with a new one and am really happy with the quality. Heavy duty polyester, rain water runs right off. My old cover (which was also a Tracker cover)had 4-5 tie down points for web straps on each side. The new cover only has 3, but it is a new style of buckle and strap that straps the cover to the hull rather than to the trailer. It really works much better. The only complaint I have about it is the extra reinforcing material that goes over where the pedistal seats should be is not centered over the seats properly. The patches are about 6-8" forward of the seats.

When compared to other "custom" covers the price was very good as well.

If interested I have a custom boat cover thats 6 months old for a pro team 185... Only thing is I'm not sure if it will fit your boat as it is for a 2002 pro team 185... But if it does make me an offer...
