So - is the new Impala really going to be a 'large version' once again, or is someone 'messing' with the definitions again? Still can't believe you can't buy a true 'full size car' anymore. :wacko: :wacko: :wacko:

Mark me as 'loving' my used 2005 Cadillac DeVille! :wub: :wub: :wub:

Tox,....if there's one pet peeve i have,..it's peep's not getting the WHOLE story!! Just tryin' to answer Bill's question/concern before this thread get's jacked too!! ;)

TT,...the days of big Cars are gone....corporate fleet CAFE standards and gov't reqmnt's won't allow it. (There goes that "freedom of choice" thingy again.....damn gov't!!) If you want BIG, you're going to have to buy USED or buy SUV. Co's don't build and sell enough of those to skew the coporate cafe % reqmn't that much.......besides,..for every suburban or Tahoe we sell...we also have to sell 100 4-banger's to meet the avg. MPG mandate for the fleet,......don't ya just love the jack-nuts in DC mandating what you can drive?? Who know's what YOU want and need more than a bunch of pompous out of touch empty clue-bags in DC!!;):rolleyes:

I miss the big cars too, but I'm a happy camper as long as GM cranks out full size trucks!!

so I'm a peep??????You need to get off yor soap box or become the spokesperson for GM. THere was no offense masde and I didn't deserve the comment, but I will continue to drive my Toyota Avalon until GM builds a decent car. So I guess it will begin now!

LOL!!...OMG...please..."Peeps" is short for "people"....not "Bill in VA". It's used as as a gernerality meaning "everyone!!" Sorry if you were offended,..I was only trying to provide you more info regarding your question about GM investment...if you don't want to know that's fine. ;)

Drive whatever you want....it's your choice. :wub:

Mac - thanks for the info. I'm always interested in both sides.. Last good one was my '64 Impala SS Coupe

LOT's of really GOOD GM stuff out right now, and getting better all the time. Check out the latest CR and JD Power reviews. The caddies are world class and the new Buicks are unbelievably sweeeet,....deff NOT the "old man's car" of the past. A lot has changed between 1964 and 2011! :lol:

Have a good weekend......I'm down and out and goin' fishing!! SEEEYA!!

:unsure::unsure::unsure:

Get back on your porch Mac:lol:
