Greetings,

Anybody have a preference on a decent bilge cleaning solution? I've got some oil-gas mixture to clean off a painted surface on my aluminum boat. What works good with minimal effort but won't take the paint off with it?

thanks!

I bought some StarBright Bilge Cleaner a few years back.....easy stuff.....add water to your bilge, pour in a capful of the stuff and go fish. When you get back to the ramp and tie down, turn your bilge pump on and pump it all out. It is biodegradable so it wont hurt the enviroment, but any oil residue will. Try not to pump it into the lake...

just use Dawn dishwashing detergent,...i swear that's all that most of it is without the "smell good" added to it!!......Dawn cuts grease/oil too!! Just add a LITTLE!! bit in your bilge with some water and let it slosh around.....use sparingly though so you don't turn your bilge into a bubble bath!! LOL

Hey Rick,...it was "Madge"....LOL.....and you're soaking in it!!!...hahahhaha
