Best Place to Mount Transducer

Hi Guy's,
I just bought a Lowrance Elite 9 Ti2 with active imaging 3-in-1 and am looking for recommendations best place to mount the transducer on my Nitro 901CDX. From my research I am looking at placing behind my 10" Bob's Machine Shop hydraulic jack plate as there is lots of room for it and I have a nice flat spot on the hull. Anyone else mounted it here or where did you mount yours?

did you ever get the transducer mounted I just bought a elite 7ti2 and wonder if you had any thoughts where to mount it

I mounted the transducer behind my jack plate so it sits just below the hull. Have no regrets mounting it there.
