I just got home from fishin at Choke Canyon, a little lake south of San Antonio and oh what a day. I was pre-fishing for a two-day tourny this weekend. Right of the bat, maybe 4th or 5th cast, I put a 6-pounder in the boat. That's the way to start the day. Not long after, I hung a 3-pounder followed by several 2-pounders. The fish are in pre-spawn and are eating everything available. If any of you northern guys and gals get down this way, I'll be glad to take ya out to one of the best lakes in south TX!
