I have read a lot about not using Pledge on Glass and a whole bunch more about what to use...

Right now I use 3M Products for my seats and the hull (Aluminum)...

I figured the guys here won't BS for "their" company product...So, how about it? What are the best products to use to keep it claen and protected?

The opinions that I have read have been mixed. Some have said that Pledge caused damage to the gelcoat of glass boats. Most seem to agree that there are no UV blockers in Pledge so although you get a shine on the vinyl you get no protection.

I'd like to hear from the pros...

I dont like to use pledge. Too slippery. I do wax the "cap" of my boat once a month with turtle wax and use mild soap and water for the seats/console/other stuff.

Do not wax your hull especially in the pad area. It will actually slow the boat down....

Dont use pledge on the glass. The owners manual on my old champion states not to use pledge or any other furniture polish on the boat. they say it can cloud the gellcoat. i wax mine with super glaze wax made by the wax shop and use a spray detailer called slick stuff made by the same company to clean and shine it after i take my boat out of the water.
