The little rubber covers on my Bearing Buddies have dried out in the hot sun and are now cracked. So, they have started throwing some grease. I used some glue the last time to seal the cracks but every time I regrease the crack opens up. Is there any place I can order just the little rubber cover?

so those are called 'rubbers'. the bearing buddie covers are called 'bras'. who comes up with the names for this stuff anyways? :)

might check out your tracker dealer (the one here in okc keeps them in stock) or other marine or boat stores as i've found a few places here which have them. might call or email Craig at BPS as he should be able to get them also.

Hey Thanks Jim B.,

I was wondering where I'd find those rubbers. Mine are spraying grease already and their only a year old. Jim M.

I got some at Bass Pro in the parts department. Another trick is after you grease, wipe out a little bit of the excess that's only in the cap. Then "burp" the air out of the hub when you put the little rubber piece back in. I had a problem of slinging grease and what would happen is that the hub warms up, the grease and air in there expands, pushing the little rubber piece out a little, causing grease to get out and allowing water to get in. I just push that center piece in while using a screwdriver at the edge to allow the air to escape. No problems since.
