Bass Pro opening date in Ashland, VA

I thought it was this weekend? Bill and I were slated to attend for Bass Pro Shops but it fell through. I was looking forward to it too!

mike are you sure, he was interviewed by the richmond times dispatch and stated sept 10th was the opening date.

BP website says it is opening in October, but no specific date.

I Emailed the new store manager directly off the BPS website. He emailed the date back the same day. That's about as direct an answer you can get without all the bullsh*t you get asking anyone else who is not actually running the show.

I can tell you that I am scheduled to be there on October 1st to do a function with Johnny Morris and then the 2nd for the Grand Opening festivities. The sales/events will continue through the weekend if I remember right.
