The big boys are in town this week fishing their first Elite tournament of the year on the Sabine river in Orange, Texas. The past 3 days they have been scouting the river trying to figure out how to catch a keeper bass. I've been down to the ramp the past couple days and the Sabine river is muddy and swift after all the rain we've had. Tomorrow is day one of competition and they have their work cut out but someone will find some clearer water or a special area that's holds larger fish and win this thing. Should be exciting weekend here in my hometown! Last time they were here I rode as a Marshall for 3 days but elected not to enter this time. Just couldn't get excited about making those long boat rides again.....
