Baitwell

Having problems getting my baitwell to fill completly. It only seems to fill a quarter of the way. I opened up the spray head all the way. Am I forgetting something? Am I doing something wrong? I own a 2001 Deep V 17. The livewell operates correctly and has a drain plug. But not the baitwell.

I have the 2000 Deep V17. Assuming they have not changed the baitwell design, mine has a drain in the bottom which you insert an overflow tube. It's a piece of pvc pipe with a rubber collar at one end. After inserting the tube in the drain, the top of the tube comes within 3 or 4 inches from the top of the baitwell. It will fill to this point and any excess will overflow into the drain.

I have the 2001 Deep V16 and it is just like Duart said. Overflow tube in the drain hole and it fills to the top of the tube.

Called Tracker today and they were pretty much worthless. The girl told me that she was just a receptionist and that I would have to call the dealer. Then stopped by the dealers today and they told me I am missing the drain plug and would order me one. Thanks!
