Do you remember Leroy Brown? If you fished Mann's Jelly worms 25 years ago, you problably do! Leroy was surely one of, if not the most famous bass of all time! The only case of "bass kidnapping" I ever heard of!

The link is to the story.

I very much enjoyed reading about the famed "Leroy Brown", the baddest LM known to man (or Mann would be more appropriate).

I read Mann's book "Think Like a Fish" a few years ago, I think that was the title. It had quite a bit of info on Leroy in it. Good Book too!

Do believe that is the title of Tom Mann's autobiography. I think it was just published in the last two or three years. I have not read it, but it should be a delightful read.

I never saw Leroy Brown live but I have been to his grave site and heard Tom talk about him many times. For those of you who may not have heard, Tom Mann passed away last Friday do to complications following heart surgery. Here is a link to several articles about him in the electronic version of our local paper.

Thanks Greg, there are a couple of other threads on here talking about Tom's passing. He will surely be missed.
