MAN what a fun trip!! Too many details to talk about, you know "what happens in Vegas, Stays in Vegas" !!! LOL
Birthday weekend was Great!! Fishing was OK, but Vegas was a BLAST!!!
- Caught 1 hybrid on Friday night spooning, have to thank Dan J for teaching me how. Caught one decent (maybe 2lb) bass on a small spinner bait at the neighboorhood pond on Sat AM.
- Arrived in Vega 10am Sun at the hotel with mom, rooms ready, off to look around.
- Saw every hotel/casino I wanted to, LOTS of new cool stuff to look at. Best interior was Paris, HUGE ceilings and GREAT art work!!!
- Rode the NY NY Rollercoaster! i'm a big kid!
- Ate lunch on sunday at the Monte Carlo brew pub, great beer and food!
- Played all the games/slots I wanted. tried some new ones like Carabean stud poker (lost $40 but it was fun!!!). Did not play Texas Holdem, most of the casino's that had $100 or $50 buy-ins had DAYS wait for players.
- Ate like a king for free in the "diamond" lounges at Harrahs and Rio where mom is a member!
- Highlight of the trip, beside spending time with Mom, was 7.5 HOURS at one Blackjack table!!! started 6:15pm on Monday at the Casino Royale, only place with a $2 table. Played till 2AM Tues morning!!! started with $20 figured i'd loose it in an hour or so. Left at 2AM with $100 (up $80) and went through 4 dealers, more people then I can count coming/going at the table, 1 broken shuffling shoe, and I could have stayed/played till my plane left!!! LOL UNBELIEVABLE!!! I even TRIED to loose by betting $5, $10, $20 a hand then i'd WIN again!!! LOL
Met the family for dinner at 4:30pm but ONLY beka showed up!! Her sister told beka 'you and mike have a nice birthday dinner, i'll watch the boys'!! Got home about 6pm and the kids/Suzie had a surprise party for me in the dining room! Balloon,s homemade cards/gifts from all the kids, a Fish shaped Chocolate cake made with Imperial STOUT!!!! Great birthday weekend!!
