Just checked out the www.trackerboats.com site and they've updated it with the Avalanche. They do not yet have the performance numbers on the site (I was looking for that). Here's the link:

OK Pres - For those power restricted lakes, what'll she do with a 9.9 hung off the back LOL Had to get a dig in Brian!

Let me just say this about that..."Michael, row the boat ashore, halleluah..."

Y'know,....when ya take the oars out,...those little "Y's" make GREAT lime holders!!! LOL

...and the oars are great for passing Corona's from one end of the boat to the other...

Be careful now, I just ordered one these crazy illuminum boats to give it a try. Giving up my wornout ranger and putting it to rest. Ordered with the 150XR6. To many problems with those EFI and OPTI's.

OK Fool now you've got us ALL jealeous! You've GOTTA post pictures, specs and wake by wake descriptions of runing that bad boy! What color, options (besides the 150XR6) did you get!!!

Actually had a good look at the boat at the Tracker/nitro owners tournament, table rock. According to the dealer the only color is Pewter. I asked for the red one like they show on the net. Just have to wait and see what happens. Also applied for the state team sponsor ship to go with the boat.

Bassin fool - That's interesting, only Pewter? The one on the boatshow floor here in Atlanta was Red just like the picture.

OK Ken Neeley, tell us the truth! What colors can you get that bad girl in???

DURABILITY!!!! and INSURANCE costs Saving$...and in the event you should need a repair,....you're looking at MUCH faster turnaround time.....Glass repairs can take weeks.. Aluminum repairs can take anywhere from minutes to a few hours!! Eventually you'll see this stretch form aluminum technology become the leader in the industry,....'Glass is pretty and "sparklier",..but it's a pain in the tush!!!!

The boat comes in Pewter, Red, or White.

John G,

The prices you listed are comparing apples to oranges...the Avalanche at 18995. is with a Dual console, the 882 price you gave is with a single console. There is a $400 price difference for the dual, making the Avalanche $18595.

The beam on the Avalanche is 96", while the 882 has a 92" beam...a significant difference in bigger water. The Avalanche is also deeper, with a transom height of 22" versus 20" for the 882.

The weight of the 882 is 1457, while the Avalanche is 1250...a difference of over 200 lbs.

And Mac is completely right...I agree 100%.

I forgot performance....the Avalanche will run 10-12mph faster with the same motor....WOW!!!

Very nice boat! I'm jealous bassinfool. And I promised my wife I would keep the TV-18 for 10 years!!! DOH...

bassinfool - keep us updated

Bruce,...Envy is an UGLY emotion...LOL...don't be jealous,.......just tell your Avalanche ownin' buddies,..."I had my boat FIRST!!"...LOL...therefore,..you "OWE LESS!!".....hahahah always look for a way to twist a lime and the truth into your favor!!!...ahaahahhahahhah

We'll see how well this Avalanche is going to hold up. My primary fishing areas are on Lake Onterio, St Lawrence River and Lake Champlain. Big waters to be sure, and I'm not afraid to push her hard. Won't abuse, but will definitly put the boat through its paces. I'm also an individual that likes to go where nobody else fishes. Gets me into some pretty good pridicaments if the weathers a little ruff. Hoping this boat will meet my needs to get in really shallow where other people don't fish. God willing, and the lakes don't stay frozen till June I'll have some postings on this site to keep everyone informed on how the boat does.

Is there one at the St. Louis BPS? I would like to see one.

I will be there in mid-February.

They will probably have one there. My tracker dealer here in NY just recieved his, Pewter color Avalanche, for the big boat show in Syracuse next month. I suspect they already have one sitting on the show room floor at BPS Springfield. Hope you like the boat. I did when I first saw it.

Steve:

I'm sure someone (BPS or The Fishin' Hole) will have one at the February boat show at the convention center downtown. It's got too much "Huuhhhh??? A formed aluminum bass boat????" behind it to be left out.
