are the 2002 896 a good boat

i am ready to get a new boat and i have been looking around and i and love the layout of the 896 with the 200 xr6 and it is in my price range 25123 tax tag title from the GA bass pro shop but ! i have never ridden in a nitro are thay a good boat for that money??

Hey Robert - I'm just 40 minutes from that BPS, i'd be HAPPY to take delivery for ya and break her in. Heck i'll even put my 175 out back so your 896 can get the garage for the first few weeks! LOL

ROBERT I have a 896 and I fish a lot of big water and I love the boat it handles great and lots of storage....

It's the best deal going right now for a glass boat with a 200. Bar none!! I had a '99 and it was FAST,..had an awesome holeshot, rode great and the storage was better than it is in my current 901,..not to mention 4" longer! I especially liked the wider rod lockers...and the larger frt deck. You WON'T be dissapointed!!

Our club president had one before his 929. He says the ride comparable. That's a big statement for a 19' boat! 25k is what you would pay for a loaded 882, jump on it!
