Well, had to get rid of my 2001 Suburban, I miss it!! Now have a '98 Chevy Blazer 4 door.. Anyone else tow with this vehicle? I will be pulling my Lund, which is equivilant weight To a 17 Foot Tracker Targa Package (2700-3000lbs) Total Trailered weight. Would like to hear your gas mileage, how it tows, etc Thanx!

I have a 2000 GMC Sonoma and I towed my Nx882 and now my TR21 with a 225. It still pulls the Triton pretty well. Little sluggish on the steep hills. Gas mileage I get 12-14. Should have no problems towing the Lund around. Good luck with the Blazer.

did you also post over on the bfhp? I think i answered you over there as well. it will be just fine. I towed my old champ 16' glass with my 96 and my 882 with a 2k sonoma for a while. The 4.3 pulls very good, both of mine got around 14-15 towing on the freeway. I also tow in alot of hills and have never had a problem maintaing speed. just make sure you get al the fluids changed and get a tranny cooler.

Towed my Pro Deep V 17 WT with a 96 Blazer 4.3. Towed fine, a little sluggish on hills. No tranny cooler. Boat only weighed about 1700 LBS though. Just traded it in for a 99 Suburban with a 5.7L V8. Why got rid of yours?
