Lived there in 70-72. Right next to the old Atlantic Drive off Atlantic Blvd. then by the Trout River. Plan on visiting this summer.

I moved to Jacksonville in 1989 from Maryland and have loved it ever since. However I did not start fishing here until around 2000. Up until then I only went fishing twice a year on Oachita in Arkansas. Bought a used Tracker Pro Team 17 and then a 2002 Nitro 640LX. Currently fish the St. Johns, Lake George, and every now and then Rodman Reservior. I like to fish Rodman, just in someone elses boat!

Bill, I know what you mean by using someone else's boat to fish Rodman. lol Robert

I live about 45 minutes to an hour away in Lake City. I'm new to fishing also, and have a 19-foot '94 nitro.

I also like fishing Rodman, but living over here in Lake City, we get to fish the Suwannee River a lot as well as Lake Seminole, Lake Rosseau and the St. Johns River. I agree with the guys on fishing out of some else's boat when it comes to those stumps in Rodman.
