Anyone driving up NY RT 22....

Anyone driving up NY RT 22 (the scenic route)to the RALLY and needs a rest stop, water, bathroom, cup of coffee, etc. is welcome to stop by our place of business. We are located at the intersection of NY Routes 22 & 43 at the traffic light in Stephentown, NY. Red building with white trim sign out front says "Valley Electronics" and we have 8 satellite dishes out in the parking lot. We're here today (Wed) and Thursday 9am to 6pm and Friday and Saturday 9am to 7pm.



Rouses Point is about 3 hours North of here.

I wouldn't WANT to even guess what you are thinking of (SETI)....

And as far as going to the Rally....I'd really like to and almost signed up, but hubby's sister passed away on Monday. He just lost his other sister last month, so I don't want to be that far away from him at this time.....otherwise I'd be there!



Scott.....trapping sparrows???? Haven't heard that one before!!! LOL

Sorry to hear that. You really work for SETI? Really? As in UFO's and aliens? But we have Scott right here. What are you doing looking way up there. His shipped crashed and here he is eating chocolate covered strawberries and drinking diet Dr Pepper. And we thought E.T.'s diet was funky! LOL

You know my mind, Carli.....



I pictured all these big spider webs and needed something of an appropriate size to entrap. Vultures seemed a little too large and scarce. If you lived closer to the city I woulda said pidgeons. But "sparrows" seemed generic enough to be plentiful and not upset anyone like if I had said hummingbirds or goldfinches!

Hummingbirds and goldfinches I've got. I have buzzards too and a couple of pigeons....but sparrows fit better I guess. And yes....I do know your mind!! (thats the scary part!!) LOL



Rob....

I could actually hook some of my dishes up to my radios and search for ET. We are in the process of listening for deer!! Yeah ... sounds strange but a neighbor saw a doe not far from here with a radio collar on, so we've been trying to find her. We've also tracked bears in the area.

We don't have anything as big as the 1000 ft. dish in Arecibo, Puerto Rico, but a friend of ours up the road has a 60 footer! Our dishes are for the TV viewing kind!!!

I really wanted to get to the rally - in fact I had blocked out a week for vacation surrounding it. But, as some of you know, I'm just now coming out of a financial hole that I fell into a few years ago..... And sales are starting to pick up right now..... So..... I hate having to act like an adult.



Next year at Mark Twain is starting to sound better all the time! Paybacks, Rob! Paybacks!
