I've considered replacing the lower floor carpet in my 2017 /Z-18 with something like Sea Deck material. Carpet still looks and performs great but I see a lot of positive reviews and advantages with some of the new foam or rubber materials? Anyone done this yet on a Nitro Z boat? would love to see or hear about it if so. I would prefer to have a custom cut piece to fit the floor section rather than try to cut and install from sheets? Any info and or pics of work done will be appreciated!

I have a 2003 288 sport that I custom cut from sheets the fore and aft platform decks. It was really difficult from start to finish, the old carpet glue was really hard to remove! All the cuts had to be individually templated but it has held up really well two seasons now, very durable but takes stains and impressions. Double glue it with contact cement and get pre-fitted custom sets if possible.

I did it about a year ago and think it is wonderful. Keeps dry at all times, but I do have one issue! I had Sea Deck do it so they did all the work on the install. I had them make the light gray with dark pin around the edge, Looks great! The one issue is with that color I have to clean it right away or it takes time to scrub it clean. Try to go a little darker. I will send pics after I clean it, have shoe prints right now. It is a task to get the old carpet up but acetone helped!

I have a similar concerns with the EVA foam/Sea deck and wish to find the best method of cleaning it. I used a little acetone, Goof off solvent, and lots of elbow grease!
