Any Ideas where to get rear Replacement storage Inserts for 89 1800tf?

When I bought my boat last year, the 2 rear compartments were missing the plasic inserts. the area will accept a 12Wx16L x 16 deep plastic insert. The old ones, I think, were gray plastic with a lip to fit over the fiberglass cutout in the deck. They look like small plastic waiste bins and slide into the cutt outs. Any ideas? I can't seem to find anything that will fit right

Try the BPS marine catalog. From there go to Cabelas, and Overtons. There are tons of aftermarket. One should fit. Good luck.

also there is a slot in 1 side for the latch. and they have a slight taper. i have the exact same boat with the compartments. if you want i can give you the exact dims. stan. ps it might take me a few days to reply if you do.

Wouldn't hurt to check a local KMart, Meijer,Wallyworld, Home Depot etc..etc...for "storage bins" in the home asseccories depts.......like tupperware type containers...

Who knows,...amybe with a little luck and some modifying, you might get lucky and find something that'll work!!

Check any Army/Navy Surplus stores in your area too,...they have extensive camping equipt, storage items that might work....
