Another Prop Question

I have a 2005 Nitro 640lx with a 2004 Mercury 60hp 2 stroke 3 cylinder with a Aluminum propeller 13pitch. I need a new propeller. Does anyone have an answer? I am going to stay with a 13 pitch and 4 blade prop after reading all the prop questions on this forum. However, should I go with a Mercury Spitfire 4 blade aluminum 13 pitch or a Trophy Sport 4 blade SS 13pitch. Or does anyone recommend another model?

Any time you update to a SS prop you improve performance by a little or sometimes alot. The cost increase compared to aluminum is what, tripled, but most of the time when you strike a rock you usually destroy a aluminum prop but only ding a SS. This has happen to me several times. And most likely make it back to the ramp with a wounded SS prop. Also the SS blades keep there shape under heavy loads and perform throughout the rpm range.

I just changed out my prop on my 2006 Nitro 640 LX, well my brother did it for me but I got a 13 pitch 3 blade merc prop and she runs like a champ. I hope this can help you.
