Just put my new batteries in. While doing so I knew which wires went to whitch battery but does it matter in what order I put them on?

For example Do i put the positive trolling motor on the terminal first then put the charger on?

THANKS!!!

also, do batteries come charged? I plugged in the charger and it has both red and green lights on....Shouldnt it be red only?

Can having a bad battery effect or mess up my charger

Batteries generally come almost completely charged if not completely.

You'll have to ask Sue Delelys the question about the charger. If she doesn't pipe up here, call her tomorrow at 888-483-7865 ext 135. She's on Eastern time - 1 hour ahead of you.

(I would think not. It has internal circuitry and fuses to protect it. But ask Sue anyway.)

BJ If you always take the neg off first and put it on last you will never have a problem. Not so much a problem in glass boats but with cars and trucks its a good idea. This way if the tool you are useing touches a ground you will never create a spark or short.
