Hi guys and gals!

Thanks for all the replies and advice.

Bassman - it's a 1997 Nitro 700LX

Russ - I went to Flow-Rite's web page and emailed them. I'm still waiting for a reply but they have a great web page and wonderful pictures. The problem I'm having (after looking at their page) is the LOCKNUT that holds the venturi and mixing tube in place isn't locking properly to the hull fitting. I went out and messed with it this morning as its finally warming up enough so my fingers won't freeze and fall off! LOL I think I finally have it locked good enough but noticed there's not much in the way of threads to hold it.

But I want to hear what Flow-rite has to say. The system I have is Power Stream aerator. It doesn't look anything like the diagrams in the Nitro owner's manual!!

Barb - I'm constantly telling those fish to behave and not knock their breathing tube off!!! LOL

Stan Jones - you only WISH I would catch little fish! LOL

Trep + John F.- thanks for the pic and the PVC ideas. I've printed them out for future reference.

Scott - nope...the pipe has to be in the water as it is the mixing tube (air from the venturi and water) if I turn it horizontal then it won't aerate the water!!!

Give Flow-Rite a call. I think they have a toll free number. I talked to one of applications guys (sorry, can't remember the name) and got great response. He knew exactly what system my 882 had and exactly what parts I needed to upgrade to the pump out system with auto valve and new aerator nozzle, and shipped them the next day.

Carli, I had the same problem with my Pro Deep V17. What I found is the fitting was not installed far enough into the livewell for the venturi tube lock nut to catch the treads. I removed the panel, mine is located under the console, that allows access to the fittings in the livewell. I backed off the nut that is on the backside of the aerator fitting a few turns to allow the fitting to set farther into the livewell. Tightened everything up and problem solved.

Dont forget to use marine grade silicone to seal all of your fittings after you remove them...
