Advice on cleaning Aluminum that has been used in SaltWater

I recently purchased a ProTeam 175xt that was used in Saltwater. Can anyone recommend a technique or "Product" that can bring back that Aluminum shine?

I saw the Sharkskin product at that point and am anal enough to do that !!!!

The question is how do I deal with the Prep with the Salt issue? Do I use the prep stuff Renew or is there other stuff for the Salt issue?

Does Tee use a Scotch Pad with Renew in Circular motions to achieve that shine?

How much product for a 17' boat?

Are there any other products or techniques?

The E-mail address in his profile is the same one that I have. I do know that his only computer is at his work...I'm pretty sure he doesn't have a computer at home. His last post here was yesterday, 7/14, so he has been online recently.
