A kid at Christmas

I haven't been this excited for Christmas to come since I was 9 and wanted my GI Joe command center with matching tanks and helicopters! My wife's excitement for what she got me has got me pumped. I'm relatively certain I got good rain gear of some kind and at least a pole or two. Plus I went all out on her and the kids this year. Can't wait to see their faces when they see presents all the way to the fireplace on Christmas morning! SO, what are you guys really hoping to get? My favorite is the gift my wife gives my on Christmas eve....hehehehe!

And what did you get for your spouses and kids? I got Cody a Red Rhyder BB gun, and NO he won't shoot his eye out, he'll probably shoot MY eye out! LOL

Our gifts to each other are pretty much our trip back to Texas to spend time with our family and some close friends. In addition, she will get some smaller misc. gifts. Most of our gift giving centers around our son, who is now into the expensive stuff.



My 'gifts' this year will be the repair and upgrade of the rear live well, along with the replacement of the HBird on the console with a new Garmin 240. Since they will need to have the rear deck off to do the repairs/upgrades that I need, I'm going to have the sonar changed at the same time.

I know what my wife is getting me for Christmas because I had to try a lot of it on for size. She's getting a few things off her list, and one very unexpected surprise (I can't wait to see her face light up!).



Our Christmas this year will be less "glitzy" than in previous years. Both of us are in a very content place.



My "list" is mainly fishing gear (a Lindy Bouy Rack/Pack combo), a drift sock and a 7-foot casting rod. But if I don't get any of it, I WON'T be disappointed. I've got my health, a full-time job, friends, my dream boat, plus a great Tracker V-18 she let me buy.
