911 vs 929 and the price gap

Why is the 911CDC so much more than a 929, when it's shorter and Nitro's website refers to the 929 as the flagship of the 9 series?

I would guess manufacturing and construction costs. The 911 has alot of glass inthe middle of the boat. More so than the two consoles on the 929.

I have alot of seat time in both and still like the 911 better.
