898 and Jackplate Info

Does anyone have and experiance with a 898 and a 6" slidemaster jackplate? I am thinking about purchasing one and would like to know what expect performance wise. Thanks!!

Just sold my 898 in July and it had an 8 inch Rite Hite on it. Mine was an 03 w/200 EFI. Underpowered but it did the trick. It was set at 3inches below the pad and she ran 65 all day and would run 70 empty. I was running a 25 Tempest w/ 2 plugs out. Had a good holeshot in cold weather but should drop to a 24 in the summer.If you need anymore info let me know and I'll send my phone#.
