750nx gas tank

I took the boat over to bps to look at my swollen gas tank.Turns out they mounted it to close to the bulk head at the factory and it didnt get a chance to swell evenly.That made it realy obvious on the exposed side.I took the brackets lose and it moved aft over an inch and a half.Load off my mind.They had a pc 175 in early that was roasted bow to sturn.The gas tank was half full but didnt expload.Must be a tough tank.I guess it was and electrical short.He didnt say if they were on the water when it happened or not.
