1st Time out in a long time

Well, after not being on the water in many weeks (since July 4 weekend actually) I finally have a day off and weekend to fish. It's 55 outside but sunny. Can't believe it was 90+ a week ago.



I will report success (or lack of) later this evening.

Well....windy day...25 mph. Also quite chilly. It was around 55. Caught a few fish but hoping for a better day Saturday. Wind below 5 mph and close to 70. Amazing given earlier this week it was close to 100.

thats a really big turnaround for temps! How was saturday???

Temps on Sat were all the way up to 68! Today hit 70....WOW.



Went out again today and had a blast with Andrew (son 11) and Father-in-Law. We had a little tourney in the boat.

First Fish = $1

Biggest Bass = $1



Andrew hit both until Grandpa pulled out a bigger bass (note pic with their $$).



The Northern Pike hit and took Andrews lure mear the boat. As Granpd finished reeling in the same cast, it took his lure so we thought we should snap a pic of that too.

nothing beats getting out with sons and fathers!!! havent been fishing since early april or may . hip replacement . hope to see if the whites are running soon.
