Don't see it on the site.....I see the the new 190 but, not the 185....

Looks like it...why would they need two boats the same size in their lineup? Actually, I can't tell the differance. I'm sure there is some but I couldn't see it.

one foot difference in length for one thing and a wider beam on the 175. I notice also that they changed the rod layout and storage up front on the 175.

I still say that's dummer than a box of rocks to have a 190 that won't handle a 150.

I'll guarantee with the price tag on the 190 and the construction...it won't sell;)

I think it'll be a real stinker:angry:

I thought we were talking about the 185 vs 190. From what I can see the the 190 is just 3 inches longer and wider and the dry box is moved back. I don't know, I kind of like that open area in front of the dry box. I can sit there and tie on and reach everthing. Doesn't look like they added more storagee just more floor space....in a place where I never stand. I think a 135 would scoot that boat along pretty good....I'm guessing +55 mph?

Tee, one thing to keep in mind is the motor on the boats. Since the EPA rules say they cant sall a new Carb or EFI two stroke anymore they had to put either a 4 stroke or Opti on the boat. That for sure it going to make the base price go up a bunch since those motors cost so much more.

This change to a limited motor selection is going to raise boat prices on just about everything with an outboard over what you would pay with a carb model. Presonally i think it sucks, long live the carb i say :D

I'm emphasizing the boat.....I understand the price diff in two and four stroke, I just don't understand their direction here. They get rid of the 185...nothing aginst the 175 but, more boat for room and ride and actually a better deal when you count the coin.

I still say if your gonna take the time and design a decent 19 footer that can compete...then don't copy the same construction,,,you improve on it is what you do.

They still need me to help them design a decent rig that would run with if not blow the Express boys off the lake:lol:

Now THAT would sell;)

Here might be one reason to drop the 175 vs the 185. It might be a regional issue, but could be national. Here in Illinois we have tons of great 500-3000 acres lakes that all have state mandated 25hp or smaller motor limits for whatever reason. If you go to any of them 90% of the boats are in this 17.5' size with 25's because with this size you can actually have a chance of getting up on plane vs chugging along nose up. Because the 25hp is on the edge for planing on the 175 size boat if you try to put it on the 185 you are out of luck. If there are similar issues in other states then Tracker would be walking away from a large number of customers. Certainly would be in Illinois. Back to the rest of the 100% I refered to earlier is that half of the remainder are in jonboats/1965 starcrafts with 6-10hp dreaming about upgrading to my boat(175 w/25hp) or you are in the larger bass boat mad about using trolling motor only and seeing only 10% of the lake. I would love to trade in both my PT175 and my 20' skiboat in for a nice fish/ski so I would onlyhave to look at one boat in the driveway til springtime.

The seats in the 190 look better than what's in my 175.

Looks just like Express seats.....they copying? I think so....they had that type for years.
