hey my 150 xr6 has no tail stream when i started it on the muffs today. should it start streaming immediately or after the thermostats warm up the temp? or could it just be the muffs?

Motor needs to warm up before the thermostats open up and the water starts flowing. Be sure to keep the RPMs below 1500 when running on the muffs. The muffs need to cover the holes on both sides of the lower unit.

so its normal to have no circulation until it warms up?

Correct as it is recirculating the water until it gets to a set temp as designed into the thermostat and then it opens to allow the water to keep it at that range!

That is pretty normal. Mine would run around 8 psi on the pressure gauge when on the muffs and it would spit some water from the telltale until it warmed up and the thermostats opened.
