Trailer Vin Number

Hello gang, first post...2005 882 Nitro....I need the vin from the trailer....is there a way to find out the trailer vin?...I have searched in all the usual places on the trailer and nothing to be found..trailer has been repainted...any help would be great..thanks in advance.

I have a 02 882 and the trailer vin is on the inside of the frame right around the spare tire mount. It is has been painted over, it may be readable still
