I have a 2012 tracker 17.5 z it has three bilge pumps and supposedly just a small clip and they pop right out. just the motor anyone have any idea how to do this?

Replaced/installed many of these, although my knowledge is "old school". The base should be attatched to the boat floor (lowest area) there are two tabs, usually plastic, that you squeeze or pinch in which will release the motor/impeller housing from the base. Flip it over and you should see a 3-fin impeller on the end of the motor shaft. If busted, Atwood and others make fairly cheap replacements. Usually not worth trying to fix the motor. If not working, replace the unit ($20-$40 bucks)I use 800 gph or better pumps.

do have the Mayfairs they pop right out. who woulda thunk.

Has any one had problems with the trailer "chains" coils on the tracker 17.5 pro trailer. one of my cables poped right off when pulling it out to hook up to truck. very poor design.
