Radio Location

Getting a new Sirius/CD radio in the mail today. Just wondering about locations to mount. my boat is a 2001 Bass Tracker PT175XT. Just looking for ideas / opinions, Thanks. And yes its a marine radio (although I am not to sure that the "sirius" tuner box kis marine ready..thanks all.

I made an "L" bracket out of aluminum about 6" wide to accomadate the radio and pop riveted to the underside of the console. Works pretty good and all your wiring is right there.

I put my speakers in my rod lockers.
