PA fishing

Planning on going to Presque Isle Bay to fish this year....any advice on when the best time to go would be...I've fished Erie several times, Buffalo NY and Cleveland, and now would like to try PA.

What species are you targeting? LM bass is great in PI bay anywhere from May-June. Find floating houses and use wacky worms. It might be good other times but those are the only months I've fished it. Later in the summer, SM bass are great out in the main lake and somewhat in the bay too. They love live minnows and tube jigs.



There is walleye and perch too but if I am going to do that, I just hire a guide. Road Runner out of Northeast, PA is who I use.

That's not too far from Lake Chautauqua known for it's world class musky.
