One more Battery Question

Okay so I plan on upgrading to a two Batt 12v system in March.

Simple question, I have the Group 27 Interstate Batt that came with my 185 last year, can I just buy another Group 27 Interstate that matches the same capacities & such or will the age of the year old battery impact how the two batts work together?

You can mix batteries - even different groups - without problems.



Just remember that even this chain's strength will be determined by it's weakest link...... You'll get more running time than you would if you had 2 of the smaller capacity batteries but not as much running time as you would if you had 2 of the larger capacity batteries.



Of course, since one battery is already a tear old, even if you get 2 group 27's, the older one is likely to be a bit weaker.



Bottom line: Don't worry about it!
