Many years ago I inherited a Ranger .22 rifle and it has been in the gun cabinet. Recently I was doing some research and discovered this rifle was made by Marlin and sold at Sears stores from 1935-1937 under the name Ranger. It is a single shot bolt action gun and wondered if anyone was familiar with them.

Sounds like the one I was suppose to inherit from my grandfather until it was stolen from his hiding place. Only one boy in that neck of the woods was a sneaky little bastard would have done the dreadful dead.

This gun was my grandfather's and my Mom gave it to me over 20 years ago. I've never taken it out to shoot, just always kept it in the gun cabinet. Probably pass it on to one of my grand kids one day.

Numrich Arms (website) may have parts, exploded drawings, etc.
