keeping jig skirts

What causes rubber legs on a jig to melt or seem to glue themselves together in a plastic bag. What will prevent this? will adding some type powder in bag help prevent this?

Keep your jigs and spinnerbaits out of the heat. Even covered in a tackle bag/box in a boat, they get hot enough to melt. There's nothing I know of to prevent it other than that.
