Does anyone know how to calibrate the depth between dash mounted graph and bow graph?

Dash graph is Elite 5 w/gps, bow is Elite 5 w/o gps--transducer is in bottom of trolling motor(minnkota fortrex). Always at least 1 foot difference in depth between front and rear graphs. Bow reads shallower. I suppose I can adjust the trolling motor up a foot, but that defeats the purpose of the 52" shaft. Anyone have the same problem?

GO INTO THE MENU OPTION'S ON YOUR FRT UNIT AND SET THE "KEEL OFFSET" TO 1-2FT. (OR WHATEVER THE DIFF IN DEPTH IS BETWEEN THE 2 UNITS TRANDUCERS). IF YOU'RE LOOKING FOR TOTAL ACCURACY,..THE TRANSDUCER ON YOUR TM SHOULD BE AT THE SAME HEIGHT (WHEN THE TM IS LOWERED INTO OPERATION POSITION) AS THE RR 'DUCER ON YOUR HULL.

THE KEEL OFFSET SETTING IS WHAT NEEDS TO BE "TWEAKED"..;)

Don't think my early Eagle(early 90's) has that but, good to know:cool:
