I have a friend who buys every gadget made. He showed me his latest purchase, a Click2knot knot tying thing. Does this thing work?

Not familiar with the one mentioned, but those knot aides have been around in various forms and fashions for years. Overall they're very effective, but with a little practice with a few knots (palomar, loop, cinch) you can take care of a line tie yourself much quicker and without hunting down a gadget to wrap around. The three knots I mentioned are the guts of good fishing in my book. Good luck!
