Fluorocarbon with Mono backing

For those that fish with baitcaster using fluorocarbon line. I want to pre-fill my reel with mono line as backing and have the fluoro the last 70-100 yds. Do you prefill with larger, smaller, same size diameter mono than the fluoro ?

Generally use similar size but all depends on how much flouro you want to put on. I use a blood knot to join the two lines. Gilly
