I have a Nitro 288. The back of the bracket of the passenger seat created an L shaped crack on the floor around itself. This makes the seat rock. (the bracket and fiberglass dips down with pressure).
Okay. The previous owner ran a 2"x 4" with threaded holes under the floor. That is what the rear bracket bolts tie into. But it is not "securing" the situation. So I placed a piece of teak wood large enough to extend beyond the 4 holes that the bolts tie into. This puts the torque behind the crack. But now the forward bolts are not tying into anything.
How do I fix this right? Is there a do it yourself solution that is not "half assed?"
Thanks
