Well the Tuna Scowl (Tundra) is home from storage. The swing tongue on the trailer had cracked on both the pin and the pivot pin making for a lot of slack when lifting up or down on the moving part of the tongue. I welded both sides and now it's tested on the two miles of pot holes leading the road out of the storage. Need to bead blast the weld and paint it. It's been re-carpeted, engine wiring fixed, and tongue welded.
Ok I should just pay the dam thing off but now I've been thinking about disc brakes. Are they THAT much better than my current stock brakes?
Also anyone know of a chip repair kit for painted boats? I got stuck on a highway chip coating and sealing the roadbed. I got a good dozen paint chips I';d like to see go away.
